Dear Members:

1) Continuing from 2003, in 2004 MSBL National will be able to offer our local MSBL/MABL leagues their choice of two insurance plans,  Medical/Liability combined plan and Liability only. National organization League Presidents receive all the details in their annual President’s package. Rates remain the same as 2003. We are confident the combined coverage and price offered for our Medical/Liability plan cannot be matched.

2) Introduction of the Rawlings MSBL-1 In close alliance with Rawlings, Anaconda and MSBL, we are proud to offer to our leagues the RMSBL baseball (top of the line raised seam ball) for $39.96 per dozen for 2004 (free freight on orders of 20 dozen or more). This is basically a $5 per dozen reduction from prior years. All leagues that order 100dz or more can get their individual league logos put directly on the balls for no extra charge.

3) MSBL/MABL is proud to offer seven National tournaments for 2004 including our newly introduced Desert Classic in Palm Springs (sold out). From Las Vegas to Orlando to Puerto Rico, these tournaments offer great opportunities to combine pleasure/vacation with baseball and come with national tournament credits as awards.

4) MSBL/MABL National OK’s Use of MetalWood Bats. Based on a presentation to the National office made by company CEO, Jack Cipoletti, the National office has approved the use of MetalWood bats in all national tournament wood bat events. 5) “Day at the Show”. MSBL National is currently working with an MLB Club on a plan to offer use of Major League Baseball Stadiums to our local affiliates at a greatly reduced cost. More information should be forthcoming shortly.

6) MSBL/MABL Benefits being Utilized in Greater Numbers. It is gratifying to report that there has been a significant increase in benefit utilization of our insurance partner, Liberty Mutual and credit card partner, MasterCard. Liberty Mutual offers the National organization discounts on homeowner and auto insurance and MasterCard offers a waived annual fee for MSBL/MABL members. 7) MSBL/MABL/Ringor Re-sign for New Three-year Agreement. Continuing our 6 years of closely working together, MSBL National and Ringor have signed a new agreement, where Ringor continues as the official shoe/spike of our National organization thru 2006. It has been clearly recognized by our members that Ringor offers the most complete line of comfort and performance.

8) MSBL Sports Store Catalog and Anaconda Sports Catalogs Mailings. Anaconda’s 2004 Sports catalog has been mailed to all league Presidents for managers meeting distribution. League Presidents and managers will note the MSBL/MABL logo on the cover and coverage on pages 4/5. There are numerous closeouts as well. The newly designed MSBL/MABL Sports Store catalog has also been mailed to all individual MSBL/MABL members with a benefit/MSBL/MABL ID card.
